Getting ready to go home...

It is almost December... Well technically as of 12 minutes ago, it is! Christmas is on the way, and I am going home to Montreal for almost a month! So here I am, scrambling to get as much as I can done before I leave (as Tawfik snoozes on the couch!).

So far we've booked our reception site, and we've decided it will be at La Valencia hotel in La Jolla, California, a beautiful area of San Diego. Some friends of ours had their wedding there a couploe of summers ago, and it's just gorgeous. It overlooks the ocean, and the hotel has a beautiful garden where we can have the ceremony. We've also booked our florist, a really cool lady who helped me a lot with the concept of the wedding! Oh and I bought my dress, but that's a secret! ;) We've also been trying to take care of booking a photographer before I leave, but we are stuck, so it seems that some details will have to wait.

I am excited to see everything come together, and also thinking about everyone who will be in town for our big day! So exciting!

I am doing my best to come up with as much information as I can about San Diego, its ammenities, and local activities. Below (all the way at the bottom of the page) is a whole section on hotels, things to do and places to eat! It's a work in progress, I will add to the list as well as details as I go.

Coucou!

This is our new blogging space... We've created it to keep everyone in touch with the latest plans for the wedding. For now there isn't much information, but we'll update it often to add more!
We're so excited for next summer and to see everyone, it's going to be wonderful.
